International MH Day Celebration 2022 at eight factories from 28th May to 6th Jun’22

Phulki organized International Menstrual Hygiene Day Celebration at Eight factories from 28th May to 6th June 2022 at C & R Sweater Ltd., Gardenia Wears Ltd., M.M. Knitwear Ltd., M.T. Sweater Ltd., Meditex Industries Ltd., Purbachal Apparels Ltd., Space Sweater Ltd. under “Implementing MHM model through integration of basket solution” project of Auchan Foundation. Total 400 participants (worker and management) were attended in the event. Among them 293 were female and 107 were male participants.

The event has started with an opening speech by the factory top management. Then Factory Medical officer/ Nurse discussed about how to maintain the good menstrual hygiene management during periods. Project Manager, Phulki discussed about the main theme, goals and the importance of the Day. A short awareness session on MHM was conducted by Phulki Coordinator. Then factory management and Phulki has organized a quiz session. All the participants received gift (Carry Bag, Sanitary napkin, Soap, Panty) from PHULKI. Phulki also provided a color print MHM awareness training handout to the trainer and co-trainer to conduct the MHM session using this training materials. The factory management and the workers are very happy to organize the MH Day celebration in their factory. They thank Auchan Foundation and PHULKI to organised such type of awareness raising program in their factory. They also committed that next time the factory management will jointly organised this MH Day celebration by their won.
