Short description  The labor law clearly states that factories employing 40 or more female workers must provide a well-maintained, hygienic daycare center for their children. However, many large RMG factories, even those with thousands of female workers, still lack such facilities.

In its vision to create a world where working women don’t have to choose between economic independence and their children’s well-being, Phulki promotes factory-based childcare centers as a collaborative effort between parents and employers, with shared responsibility for both cost and engagement.

Phulki supervises the caregivers’ work through weekly visits, develops age-appropriate Early Childhood Development (ECD) curricula and materials for children’s social and mental growth, and supplies daily recreational activities. In addition, Phulki helps ensure the hygiene standards of each center by conducting monthly awareness sessions with both mothers and caregivers.
