There was a law but not implemented. This project has been designed to take care of the children of lactating mothers working in the garments factories, the child care centres accommodate 20 children aged between six weeks to 3 years and are located in the workplace premises. First and most important is trained care givers also need to have mothers meeting to let them know and discuss about child care. Phulki over the years gained experience and expertise on establishing work place based child care. Phulki then phase out and the workplace owners operate the centers on their own, with occasional support from Phulki. If any employer wish to outsource the child care to Phulki in that case with a fee Phulki operate the child care. A supervisor from Phulki visit and over see the child care centre and documents each of its steps of center set up, training. |
